Shipping FAQ
International Shipping:
US: No hidden charges with any Customs, Taxes & Duties. If you’ve overpaid at checkout, we will refund the overpayment. This means you receive your parcel quick and easy, with all the Customs taken care of.
Europe: If you’re charged Customs, Taxes & Duties at checkout , and it gives us an option to pay before you receive your parcel - we will cover it (depends on which country you’re ordering to) - if we are unable to process the payment on our side, you will receive an email with instructions on how to do so, and we will refund what you have overpaid.
Do you ship worldwide & how much does shipping cost?
Yes - we ship worldwide. We offer all customers free Domestic Shipping (within the UK)
No sales tax - we want your experience to be as smooth and upfront as possible - just the way we like it.
* Please note that customs policies and import duties vary widely for international orders.
What are your shipping and processing times?
Our fulfilment period is 2 weeks. This is due to every single item at madebymata being handmade to order.
All our current delivery methods are as follows
ECONOMY Economy Worldwide Postage: This is our standard international delivery service. Europe in just 3 to 5 working days. As for the rest of the world, Royal Mail (or your local postal service) aim to deliver in just 5 to 7 working days.
STANDARD
Standard Postage (All locations within the UK): This is our standard United Kingdom postal service. We send all standard postage orders via Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class. Royal Mail aims to deliver all parcels sent via this service within 2-5 working days.

EXPRESS
EXPRESS WORLDWIDE
Express Worldwide Postage: This is our express Worldwide postal service. This service is available at an additional cost. So you can receive your handmade pieces much sooner than the Economy service. The express postal services usually take 5-7 working days.
EXPRESS UK POSTAGE
Express Postage: This is our express UK postal service. This service is available at an additional cost. So you can receieve your handmade pieces much sooner than the Standard service The package will be posted via Royal Mail Special ®Guaranteed by 1pm next-day*.
EXPEDITED FULFILMENT & POSTAGE
EXPEDITED WORLDWIDE
Expedited Fulfilment & Worldwide Postage: This is our expedited Worldwide postal service. This service is available at an additional cost. As well as this service providing Express Shipping. It also provides an Expedited Fulfilment service, so your items will be created within 7 working days. So you can receive your handmade pieces much sooner than the Express service. The express postal services usually take 5-7 working days.
EXPEDITED UK
Expedited Fulflment & Postage: This is our expedited UK postal service. This service is available at an additional cost. As well as this service including our Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm®Guaranteed by 1pm next-day* service. It also provides an Expedited Fulfilment service, so your items will be created within 7 working days. So you can receive your handmade pieces much sooner than the Express service.
Where can I find my tracking number?
When your items are shipped out, you should receive an automatic notification from the system via email providing you with a tracking number. Alternatively view your Shopify order page.
If you haven't received one or if the tracking number doesn't work, no worries. Contact us, and we'll be happy to help.

Unexpected Delays
In some instances the delivery may take longer than the standard shipping times stated above. External factors might cause shipping delays such as international customs processing and holidays that we cannot control. Please contact us if your package is taking too long to arrive and we will work with you to resolve any situation.
